Betting Types

Beginner

Combined bets

In a combined bet, two or more games are combined. For this, you need to select "Combi" on the betting slip. The total odds are calculated by multiplying the odds for the individual games. To win the bet, you must predict the right results for all games.

Example:

You place € 10.00 on Chelsea to win at odds of 1.38 and you tip Manchester to win at odds of 1.28. you therefore stand to win € 10.00 x 1.76 = € 17.70. Where the result of one of the games does not match your bet, the amount you place as a bet will be lost.

Live bets

With live betting, you can place bets after a game has started (i.e. during a live game). Our bookmakers continually adjust and update the odds according to the scoreline and the run of play. Note that information displayed on the scoreline and the run of play is for guidance only and subject to change. CASHPOINT accepts no liability for this. It should also be noted that live transmissions are liable to delays, depending on various factors (e.g. bandwidth).

Example:

During a game between Petrovic and Giannessi, you place a bet on Petrovic to win the match. If your bet is correct, the amount you bet is multiplied by the applicable odds at the time in question, producing a maximum win of € 10.00 x 2.08 = € 20.80.

Results bets

In a result bet, you need to predict the exact result of an event. In the case of exceptional results in particular, bets of this kind can produce very high odds and therefore very high winnings.

Example:

You bet on a result of 2:1 for Arminia Bielefeld vs. FC Cologne. If this is the final result, the amount of € 10.00 you place is multiplied by odds of 10.00 to produce a maximum win of € 100.00.

Double Chance

This type of bet combines two different results for a single game. Minimising the risk by covering two of three possible outcomes will suppress the odds, however.

Example:

For the match between Schalke and Werder Bremen, you take a double chance on one win for Werder Bremen and one draw (12/X2). If Werder Bremen wins, the amount you bet is multiplied by the maximum odds of 1.55. If the final result is a draw, the amount you bet will be multiplied by 1.30. If Schalke wins, you lose the bet.

Long-term bets

A long-term bet allows you to, for example, bet on the overall winner of a tournament, competition, event or championship; it is also possible to bet on the leading goalscorer in a league, promoted/relegated teams in a league and much more. It may take days, weeks, months or even years for the result of a long-term bet to be known. If you forecast the correct result, you win the bet and the amount you place is multiplied by the odds.

Example:

You bet on Germany to become world handball champions for 2021 and confirm your bet. You bet an amount of € 10.00 and the odds are 10.0. If you win, your stake money is multiplied by the odds as follows: € 10.00 x 10.0 = € 100.00.

Who will win the game?

In this type of bet, you predict the outcome of a sporting event. The final result of a game has no bearing on winning the bet. If you forecast the correct result, you win the bet and the amount you place is multiplied by the odds.

Example:

You place € 10.00 on Borussia Dortmund to win at odds of 1.52. If this is the outcome, you win € 10.00 x 1.52 = € 15.20. Where your bet does not match the result of the game, the amount you place will be lost.

Over/Under

Here you bet on the number of goals scored rather than the result of the game. It does not matter which team scores the goals. Over/under bets are available not just for football matches, but also for sports like basketball, ice hockey, etc.

Example:

For the Leeds United vs. Manchester City game, you place a bet on over 2.5 with odds of 1.35. If the game finishes 1:2, you win the bet as three goals were scored. A stake of € 10.00 will be multiplied by the odds so you win € 10.00 x 1.35 = € 13.50.

Both to score

In this case, winning depends on whether or not both teams score at least one goal. If you bet correctly, you win.

Example:

In the game between Brighton and Manchester, you bet "No" in the market "Both to score". The final result is 1:0 to Manchester, so your bet is correct. The odds are 1.90. Winnings are calculated by multiplying the amount you bet by the odds: € 10.00 x 1.90 = € 19.00.

Odd/Even

This type of bet depends on whether the total number of goals scored is odd or even. If you guess right, you win the bet. The amount you bet is multiplied by the odds, so you win the maximum amount.

Example:

You bet € 10.00 on an odd number of goals in the match between Brighton and Manchester at odds of 1.90. The final result is 2:1, an uneven number of goals, so you win your bet. Your winnings are calculated by multiplying the amount you bet by the odds: € 10.00 x 1.90 = € 19.00.

First goal

In this goal-based bet, you bet on the team to score the first goal in a match. You can also bet on a scoreless outcome (no-score draw). The amount you bet is multiplied by the relevant odds to calculate the maximum winnings. If your bet does not coincide with the result of the game, you lose your stake.

Example:

In a game between Inter Mailand and ACF Fiorentina, you correctly bet on Inter Mailand scoring the first goal at odds of 1.42. You place a bet of € 10.00, which is multiplied by the odds to give you winnings of € 10.00 x 1.42 = € 14.20.

Expert

Multi bets

In a multi bet, you bet on several possible match outcomes within a single betting type. You have the opportunity to play an individual multi bet, whereby you cover several outcomes with one betting slip. With a combined multi bet, things get more interesting: here several single bets are combined with individual multi bets.

Example:

For the match between Inter Mailand and ACF Fiorentina, you bet on a win for Inter Mailand and on a draw (1/X). If one of these results is the outcome, you have won the bet. The amount of € 10.00 that you bet is multiplied by the maximum odds to produce maximum winnings of € 22.00. If ACF Fiorentina wins the game, you lose your bet.

System bets

A system bet is an expanded form of combination bet. With a system bet, you can specifically raise your chances of winning, and even win in spite of one or more incorrect bets. Several bets or bet combinations can be made in a single placement. If all bets are correct, you win all of the bets in your system. Where you bet incorrectly, you still have a chance of winning as one or more component bets may be right.

Example:

You choose a winner for several games and select a system bet. Your stake of € 10.00 is split three ways. If all your predictions are correct, you secure the maximum winnings. If only one or two of your bets are correct, you still have at least one correct combination. With a system bet, not all bets need to be correct to claim winnings, and this makes it very different from a combined bet.

Bank Bets

If you are convinced of the outcome of a certain bet, you can play this as a "bank bet" in the framework of a system bet. Once you have decided on a system, you can combine this with one or more banks. For a successful bet, it is necessary for your bank bets to be correct, and it is also necessary to meet the win criteria for the system bet. If the bank bets are incorrect, the whole bet is lost. To play a system bet with bank bets, start by placing your bets for the system on the betting slip, clicking on "System" and selecting your chosen system. You then add the required bank tips to the bet by selecting "B" next to the required tip.

Remaining time bets

A remaining time bet is an innovative feature in the world of sports betting. When a bet is placed, the current score is ALWAYS assumed to be 0:0. In other words, only goals scored after the bet is placed actually count. Even if the favourite is leading 3:0 at the time of bet placement, therefore, excitement is guaranteed until the final whistle.

Example:

In a game, which is currently in progress, you choose a remaining time bet. Your stake of € 10.00 is multiplied by the current odds of 1.06 to produce maximum winnings of € 10.60.

Coming from behind/keeping a clean sheet

In this type of bet, you place a bet on one team to win after being at least one goal behind in the game (coming from behind). Where you bet on a clean sheet, you bet on a team to win without conceding a goal. If you bet correctly, your stake is multiplied by the odds to calculate the maximum winnings. If your bet does not coincide with the final result, you lose your stake.

Example:

You place € 10.00 on FC Cologne to win with a clean sheet at odds of 4.85. The final score is 0:2 to FC Cologne, so you win € 10.00 x 4.85 = € 48.50.

Multiple bet on exact results

In a multiple bet on exact results, you bet on several possible outcomes. In this instance, you can cover three possible results in a single bet. If you get one of the three results right, you win the bet and your stake is multiplied by the relevant odds. If the final score differs from your predictions, you lose your stake money.

Example:

In the match between Arminia Bielefeld and FC Cologne, you bet € 10.00 on possible results of 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 at odds of 5.80. Arminia Bielefeld wins 2:1, so you gain the maximum winnings of € 10.00 x 5.80 = € 58.00.

Both to score, or score draw

In this case, you bet on one team to win, or on a draw; you also bet on both teams scoring at least one goal. If you bet right, the amount you place is multiplied by the relevant odds to calculate the maximum winnings.

Example:

For Hertha BSC vs. Eintracht Frankfurt, you place a bet on a draw as the final result (X) with both teams scoring at least once. The final score is 2:2, so you win the bet. Your maximum winnings are calculated as € 10.00 x 4.10 = € 41.00.

In which half will most goals be scored?

In this type of bet, you specify in which half most goals will be scored, betting on either the first half or the second half. You can also bet on the same number of goals being scored in each half (X). The team that actually scores the goals is irrelevant in this bet.

Example:

In a match between Bayern Munich and Hertha BSC, you bet on more goals being scored in the second half at odds of 1.72. If you are right, your bet of € 10.00 is multiplied by the odds to produce maximum winnings of € 17.20. If, for example, two goals are scored in both the first and the second half, you lose the bet.
